WIMBÉE has focused its activity on the production of spiral wound cardboard tubes, which allows the company to make ice-cream lids, cheese boxes but also its patented product: the cardboard caps for aerosols. The ice-cream lids can also be made with the thermoforming technique and a wooden spoon can automatically be put into the lid.

 

CARDBOARD CAPS FOR AEROSOLS

A real innovation in the aerosol industry

WIMBÉE, a French SME, with its experience in the food industry and its know-how in the field of cardboard lids, has designed, patented and produced the first all-cardboard, industrialisable cap for aerosols. Solid, resistant, with a wide variety of clips, it is available in Ø 52 mm, Ø 65 mm, ( Ø 57 mm is on the way) which are the standard diameters of the vast majority of aerosols.

This packaging:

Is Eco-responsible (complete recyclability of the product: cap AND aerosol are recyclable)

  • Is Biodegradable and therefore has less impact on the environment
  • Offers an optimised communication surface of nearly 25%
  • Allows rapid adaptation for promotions and other marketing actions

It can be made of recycled cardboard if requested.

Ice cream lids

Cardboard or plastic, with or without the wooden spoon

The lids can be made of cardboard or plastic, with or without an integrated spoon (made of beech wood), stackable or not.

For plastic lids, the diameter is 69 mm, with or without the spoon, suitable for cups ranging from 80 ml to 150 ml.

 

For cardboard lids, we offer the following diameters:

  • 69 mm with or without the spoon (for cups from 80ml to 150ml)
  • 78 mm (for 200 ml cups)
  • 95 mm (for 500 ml cups)
  • 96 mm (for 500 ml cups)

 

These lids can be graphically improved by printing techniques such as: embossing, hot foil, UV varnish.

A technique mastered for many years

Mastering plastic and cardboard processing techniques and know-how in assembling materials have allowed us to develop a whole range of thermoformed products: plastic ice cream lids with integrated spoon or even certain cheese boxes assembling plastic and cardboard illustrate this well.
